Couples Therapy

Conflict disrupts connection.

Far too often, whether you have been together for years or are relatively new to this relationship, you know when something is not working for you as a couple. When you begin to turn away from each other and maybe toward others to feel understood, or you shut down, neither of these choices brings you closer to your partner.

These challenges between couples can arise at any stage. Some stressors can feel impossible to navigate when long-standing patterns have been ignored. Sometimes, you have to navigate a crisis, and you don’t have the skills to support each other adequately. When careers, raising children, or other priorities are not aligned, you become aware of a communication breakdown.

Ultimately, you find yourselves increasingly disconnected and unsure how to reconnect. Each of you might feel you are right, but that only leads to further division. By the time many couples seek therapy, they often feel like they’ve tried everything they know to do, yet nothing seems to create lasting change.

Many couples reach a point where communication feels strained, small conversations turn into big conflicts, and the distance between you grows. It can be exhausting, frustrating, and at times, deeply discouraging, especially when you still care about each other and want things to improve.

Couples therapy can help you reconnect.

When you feel stuck in the same arguments and don’t remember how things got this bad, know you are not alone. Change is always possible, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. You don’t have to keep going through this alone, and no one should lose the love they have for each other when there is another option.

Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but it’s also a powerful turning point. This process isn’t about blame or taking sides. It’s about helping you both feel seen, respected, and valued. In this space, you can rediscover what brought you together while building something stronger and more resilient.

In our work together, I offer a calm, supportive, and structured virtual space where both of you can slow down, learn to listen actively to each other, and truly feel heard, often in ways that haven’t felt possible before.

We’ll work together to explore in a supportive, nonjudgmental way the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Along the way, you’ll develop healthier ways of communicating that promote understanding rather than conflict. You will also gain skills to express your needs more openly, listen more thoughtfully, and respond to each other with greater empathy and compassion.

Reduce the conflict and reconnect.

In couples therapy, my role is not to tell you what to do. Rather, this is a collaboration with you to determine your needs.

We will practice using tools to help you make progress and to share your specific needs without fear of criticism.

Do not grow further apart and lose the love you have for each other. It’s never too early to seek help to keep your relationship on track.

I invite you to schedule a free consultation and take the first step toward your future together.
